Austin will soon begin TBall and we'll be keeping ourselves busy on the weekends with that. I'm looking forward to it and so is he. It is exciting.
In all this time, I also changed schools and teaching positions. I wanted to be able to teach in our neighborhood school. It's been my goal since we had Austin. I want the luxury of taking him with me when he begins kindergarten next year. By God's provision a fifth grade position came open at our neighborhood school. I sent my resume over, gave a kick-butt interview and got the job. The transfer was really fast but my new principal was very supportive. I am much happier in my new school and my commute is all of three minutes! God is good.
I also found a great source for my shopping planning. Publix Penny Pincher is a great site. Not only does she have some phenomenal coupon match ups, but she also posts recipes you can make for dirt cheap using the sales at Publix. I can't complain about that one!
